Our Journey from Crisis to Deliverance
I never thought that God would have purposed for me to be a caregiver, as a means of support for my husband. This journey has taught me patience and the true meaning of ministry. I learned that my husband was the most important ministry in my life. As I continued to be obedient to God and sacrifice myself, healing occurred for my husband. After radiation and chemotherapy treatments God healed him or as the doctor’s say, “placed him in remission.” This was only the first step in the process because we were blessed with the opportunity to have a stem cell transplant. Throughout the month of isolation and sickness, we kept our faith and knew that he would come out as pure gold. God’s presence dominated the situation and we never experienced any life threatening crisis’ while there. The transplant was successful and we believe God for longevity in my husband’s life. The medical team at Chapel Hill, as well as, the hotel staff at Homewood Suites made our stay memorable. We were treated with respect and importance. They provided me with massages, support groups and much information. I was prepared throughout this process and everything went on the course that they aforementioned. Going through these experiences have matured my faith and I am a witness that “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
